We are looking for passionate individuals to join our friendly, smart-working small business! We’re recruiting for roles in our marketing team, as well as new roles in our technical team as we start to prepare for 2018.

We're currently looking for four full time a Business Development Executive, Technical Architect, Project Manager, Junior .NET Developer and a Lead Generation Executive. Read on for more about the roles.


About Beyond

Beyond launched less than four years ago by Hutton Henry, after 23 years of merger and acquisition experience. Specialising in corporate M&A technology projects, our team and unique software reduce risks and cut costs by up to 40%. At Beyond we promote health eating, regular exercise, mindfullness, thinking spaces and more. We're not your regular run of the mill business!

Business Development Executive

Location: London


Beyond M&A are a technology consultancy specialising in Mergers and Acquisitions. Founded in 2014, the company has experienced rapid growth and are now looking to expand the team. We are based in Chiswick Park, London.

The Business Development Executive is responsible for prospecting, qualifying and generating new sales leads to support the Directors. This individual will be trustworthy, motivated self-starter able to identify new business projects from multiple sources including inbound marketing leads, prospect lists and individual research. The role would suit someone who has the drive and tenacity to reach decision makers and speak eloquently once communication has been established.

This is for a full time role (37.5 hours minimum) and would suit individual used to working within small business and seeking a sales related role.


Responsibilities
  • Develop new business opportunities via the telephone, e-mail and social media
  • Conduct market research to identify selling possibilities and evaluate customer needs
  • Meet weekly targets as set and agreed with management
  • Fact Find - Identify client’s needs through Scoping & Qualification
  • Build and cultivate prospect relationships by initiating communications and conducting follow-up communications in order to move opportunities through the sales funnel
  • Ensure the availability of key people for meetings and presentations
  • Collaborate with team to achieve better results
  • Maintain the company CRM ensuring all entries are accurate and up to date

Requirements
  • Proven experience as a sales executive or relevant role within SMB
  • High proficiency in English
  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Knowledge of Hubspot or other CRM essential
  • Thorough understanding of marketing and negotiating techniques
  • Fast learner and passion for sales
  • Self-motivated with a results-driven approach
  • Aptitude in delivering attractive presentations
  • Keen to take on additional tasks as required by the company within sales and marketing

Project Manager

Location: London

We know the importance of strong project managers on our customer's projects as they have a major impact on the teams and overall results. Hence we have deeloped our our M&A project methodology to help deliver quality results and we provide a creative role to employees allowing impactful creativity.

Founded in 2014, the company has experienced rapid growth and are now looking to expand the team. We are based in Chiswick Park, London.


The Role

The Project Manager is responsible for planning, executing and finalizing solutions related to new and existing products, modules and services. The Project Manager sets milestones for each project, coordinates efforts between operations and technology teams, in order to effectively and efficiently deliver projects according to plan. This position works with internal and external stakeholders to bring structure while implementing complex, project-based processes to bring increased efficiency in the delivery of all projects and services and in turn, enhanced client satisfaction. The Project Manager should have good knowledge of modern IT systems and services.


Responsibilities
  • Create and manage the plan for moving technical solutions to final client hand-off
  • Assemble and coordinate the internal and external teams to gain consensus on deliverables from each team
  • Collaboratively adapt existing and develop new project plans, processes and communication standards for the operations teams
  • Manage the formulation and ongoing tracking of each project
  • Assist with the development of reports, and the loading and configuration of demonstration data and systems
  • Proactively manage changes in project scope, identify potential crises and devise contingency plans.
  • Own the communication and execution of solution hand-over to client services, service delivery, technology and other team members at designated milestones
  • Develop and deliver progress reports, requirements documentation and presentations
  • Problem solving, analytical and communication abilities


Senior Technical Architect

Location: London


Beyond M&A are a technology consultancy specialising in Mergers and Acquisitions. Founded in 2014. We help businesses deliver complex multi-business, multi-technology projects that present technical challenges for the most talented technical staff in the industry. The company has experienced rapid growth and are now looking to expand the team. We are based in Chiswick Park, London.


The Role

As the technical architect, you’ll be responsible for designing the solutions for Enterprise clients. These solutions will vary widely so your technical capabilities and openness to understand other technologies must be broad.

The TA will be involved from initial-bid, pre-sales and to delivery on each project, it’s essential to understand all aspects of each system, from both a business and technical point of view. This means having a full working knowledge of consultancy working practices and deep experience of infrastructure technologies particularly networking and the Microsoft stack (on-premise applications and cloud).

As a client-facing role, the Technical Architect's time will be spent liaising with people from different backgrounds, including employees representing the business, IT management and technical peers, to ensure the project meets the needs of the organisation and the people who will be using it.

Some of the main tasks the TA can expect to be involved in include:

  • Identifying the organisation's needs
  • Working out which IT products to use based on cost benefit analysis and research
  • Agreeing designs with the client
  • Explaining to Management and Technical teams what's required and implementing and overseeing the progress
  • Producing documents that monitor progress and ensure the quality of the project
  • Advising the client on managing future IT needs

Requirements

Because the role of a technical architect is so varied, employers will be looking for a wide range of skills, including:

  • Previous consultancy experience
  • Demonstrable experience delivering large Enterprise projects.
  • 5 years experience in an Architect role
  • Relevant qualifications - MCSE, TOGAF etc.
  • Excellent documentation skills including the ability to produce HLD and LLD’s
  • Good communication with clients/operational managers – listening and providing answers
  • Ability to build from good relationships with clients/operational managers and colleagues
  • Ability to gather and assimilate information
  • Up to date knowledge of technical applications
  • Good knowledge of quality standards, legislation and best practice
  • Ability to be adapt and prioritise
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Ability to think ahead and anticipate problems, issues and solutions


Junior .NET Developer

Location: London

Founded in 2014, the company has experienced rapid growth and are now looking to expand the team. We are based in Chiswick Park, London.


The Role

The Junior Developer builds software solutions to meet customer requirements through team and individual efforts. Participates in the analysis and composition of requirements, design of architectural and component software features, design and implementation of system, design and implementation of test plan, and documentation of final product. Should be able to adapt to new languages, methodologies, and platforms to meet the needs of the project.

We develop applications using C# in Visual Studio 2017. Initial duties may include reviewing code, writing documentation, and following test procedures. Work may include UI design, graphics development, and/or programming. Work alongside SW development and test engineers as part of an agile process. Later duties may include taking responsibility for production software components.


Required Skills
  • Qualifications, preferably in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or related IT discipline
  • Strong technical skills including understanding of software development principles
  • Hands-on experience through coursework or apprenticeship
Preferred Skills
  • Computer based training system development
  • Ability to quickly adapt to a changing environment
  • Ability to quickly learn new concepts and software is necessary

Lead Generation Executive

Location: London


Beyond M&A are a technology consultancy specialising in Mergers and Acquisitions. Founded in 2014, the company has experienced rapid growth and are now looking to expand the team. We are based in Chiswick Park, London.

The Lead Generation Executive is responsible for prospecting, qualifying and generating new sales leads to support the Directors.
