I remember the old-school offsite: that once-a-year ritual where you’d fly international colleagues to one city, have a couple of strategic meetings, socialise over dinner, and reset the social credits so you actually understand each other again.
I’ve had these meetings in Detroit, New York, Prague, Barcelona—you name it. They were exciting. A great way to celebrate wins, communicate strategy, and get inspired for the year ahead.
But post-Covid, with remote work now the norm, that rhythm has changed. So this week, we flipped the script.
We had a small onsite at our office in Chiswick Park.
Mani (Technical) and Tony (Project Manager) flew in for a few days, and we rolled up our sleeves—not just to catch up but to rethink how we deliver one of our core services: Technology Due Diligence.
Ironically, for a team that reviews “order-to-cash” processes for others, we rarely shine that same lens inward. This time, we did. And it paid off.
Here are a few things that came out of it:
- Smarter ways to split and distribute work across the team
- Confirmed Tony and Mani can independently lead IT Due Diligence (they each bring over 20 years of experience to the table)
- Quality time with one of our customers, deepening trust and learning what really matters to them
It was just two days. But the energy it created? Massive.
So—we’re going to do this monthly.
If you’re a founder, investor, or specialist in this space and fancy joining one of these sessions, give us a shout.
We’ll bring the coffee.
